Prayer of Encouragement

Be a voice of Encouragement to someone today. Let us pray and encourage one another as members of the same body of Christ. The bible says" Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ", which is the law of Love. Gal.6:2 KJV

Enjoy the Race

Consider a long distance runner that runs races right across the country. Although it is a long race and the end goal is to finish it, the joy of the race is the journey itself. In the same way, I call you to enjoy the journey that you are on my child.

Too often you can keep your eyes focused on just finishing the race instead of enjoying the moment that you have right now. There will be many races and many goals for you to reach in your lifetime, but with each race you end, be able to look back and see the good that came from it!

Remember the sweet moments and the tender moments. Even remember the difficult moments and the uphill you sometimes had to run. With each memory, you will realize that I added something new to you. For the purpose of the journey that you are on right now is not simply to take you to your goal my child. Instead the purpose of this journey is to equip you as you run it!

If you try to run too fast, you will not take hold of everything that I have for you. If you run too slowly, you will lose time along the way. So run in perfect time. Run to my heartbeat and to my leading.

Then you will see that this is indeed a good race that you are on. You will see that I have already done many good things. So take time today to enjoy your race and thank me for the precious moments along the way. Amen

Cling to Me

No matter how thick the storm clouds seem to gather, know that my power is greater than any storm. For just as my disciples felt tossed around in the boat, it took only a single word from Me to bring peace to the situation.

In the same way look to Me this day my child. Though the clouds may gather and though you may feel darkness around you, my power is greater than all of these things.

So give me your hand today and let me guide you when it is dark. Then let me bring peace when there is a storm. Let me show you the way through the storm so that you can overcome.

For I have not forsaken you and when the night is at its darkest or when the storm is at its fiercest, it is then that I am with you the most. Because you feel the storm more than my presence, does not mean that I have left you.

When your emotions are in turmoil and you cannot see your way, it does not mean I have left you. No, instead I have taken you by the hand and I am guiding you my child. So trust in me.

Rest in me and know that I am greater than any storm. I am stronger than any wind and brighter than any dark night. Cling to me and you will soon see the daybreak and the peace that you have been seeking me for, says the Lord.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.if one cannot find everlasting peace in this world let him or her come before God who can calm the winds and waves by three words "peace be still" and the God who is willing to do more for us than we can ask ,imagine or understand will outpour a peace that the world cannot give and thus cannot take away.I know the peacespeaker yes i know him by name his name is Jesus and he is the lamb of God,the savior of the wold and our soon coming king .Are you ready for him

Surpassing Peace

Colette Toach

John 16:33 - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

What comes to mind when you think of peace? A nice holiday away from all the stresses of life? An afternoon with the kids out the house, so you can actually think for five minutes? I am sure you could come up with a few examples of your own - give me the chance and I could ramble on about them for a page or two!

You need to have solace and contentment in your life, and what I am discussing today is not something that you need to attain to, but rather something you should be applying practically to your life daily. In today's passage peace is mentioned right in there with tribulation. Yes, the Lord knew all along that you are the type of person to lose it, you are going to get uptight, and you are going to get that huge knot in your stomach causing ulcers!

But be of Good cheer! The Lord has the solution right there! He has every answer and He has the peace you seek. Do you want to know the best time to seek Him for it? Right in the middle of when you are losing it badly! I know that it is the last thing you may feel like, but what use is peace if you are looking for it when you are content? It is when you are all uptight, all hit up and all frustrated that you run to the Father, fall at His feet and drink of His quiet spirit, sit beneath the shade of His branches and hide from the heat of the sun.

As you run to the Father each time you need peace He will pour it into you until you are so consumed with His peace and strength, that it will permeate the rest of your life and then to those around you. You want that everlasting peace? The peace that passes all understanding? Start by taking of it when you are at your highest temper. Run to the Father right away - quiet your spirit and you will feel His gentle Spirit feed your soul and settle your tense body.

As you learn to tap into your spirit for those things you need daily from the Lord, so will they become so part of your life that you will not have to try anymore . You will walk without effort in the peace the Lord gives and then leaves with you. Not only that, but others will see it on you, they will feel it around you and they will be drawn to the peace of the Lord through you. Apply practically to your life the treasures the Lord has put in your spirit and watch how your world changes around you!

God Bless!
